Client testimonial 'Notary de Vuyst & Berlengé'

Civil Law Notaries Kristof Berlengé & Carmen de Vuyst on cooperation with Beddeleem: “Soundproofing of the walls was essential for the notary practice”

Associated civil law notaries Kristof Berlengé and Carmen de Vuyst enlisted Beddeleem’s help for the fit-out of their new offices in Zottegem. The building was designed by architectural firm Tarch. The notary practice occupies the ground and first floors. There are also 2 apartments being rented out on the first floor.

Beddeleem took care of all the screed work, plastering and painting, system ceilings, walls, doors, blind units, carpets, ceramic flooring and wall tiles on behalf of the developer.

JB 2000 and JB PURE walls

“Soundproofing of the walls in the document rooms was essential for the notary practice. We were at Beddeleem on several occasions to choose the right walls. They took into account properly our requirements. The solution with the JB 2000 and JB PURE walls met our requirements perfectly,” explains Kristof Berlengé.

Project management

“We are simply delighted with the project management,” according to Carmen de Vuyst. “Professional, friendly and proactive. If something wasn’t right, it was corrected immediately. Everything was completed and delivered as promised.”

“Beddeleem also proved really helpful to us with the timing of the project,” continues Kristof Berlengé. “The other suppliers were slightly unlucky but Beddeleem did shift its own timing in order to actually still meet the deadline. They were very flexible. They also worked at the weekend if required. We moved to the new premises as planned on 1 September 2017.”

Eye-catcher

“The attractive covering featuring digital photo prints of old maps on the walls in the document rooms are also a real eye-catcher for visitors,” according to Carmen de Vuyst, “This creates a special touch.”
